treasure hunt: the best pirate party printables!

This is PIRATE WEEK at Persona Designs and we’ve searched high and low for our own treasure – the best of the best when it comes to pirate party printables! Check out our post earlier this week to find out how you can create your own gang of swashbucklers with our Brown Junior Kit. We have designed the skull & crossbones gift tag (top right) for your favorite little pirate (see link at the end of this post to download). Below, we highlight four different design companies – each brings a unique style and interpretation to the popular pirate party. So without further ado, we present the BEST Pirate Printables!

We truly admire the dynamic duo of Maureen Anders and Adriana Ruff, otherwise known as Anders Ruff Custom Designs. Their pirate printable collection was recently featured on the popular entertaining blog, Pizzazzerie. With hints of turquoise and gray mixed with the traditional pirate colors of white, black and red, their bold & colorful collection features a Happy Birthday banner, party favor hang tags, drink wraps and even a thank you note. Many of the items can also be personalized. See the Anders Ruff Etsy shop for more information or to place an order.

Who says pirate parties are just for boys! Abigail from Paper and Cake offers a little something different with this adorable pink pirate collection. In addition to hang tags and party labels, she also offers a front door sign, cone party hats, a treasure map craft activity and a gift log. Abigail describes herself as someone with “DNA saturated in creativity.” We agree!  Find out more at the Paper and Cake Etsy shop.

The talented Kim Wilson Byers offers custom printable invitations plus some awesome party décor at her on-line store called The Celebration Shoppe. She puts a modern twist on the ever-so-popular pirate party with her red polka dot napkins, red stripe plates and cups and paper crepe placemats. You can read all of Kim’s fantastic party ideas on her blog to create the perfect pirate party.

Shindig Parties to Go is a one-stop shop for everything you need to create a high seas adventure. Amanda Parker, from the popular blog, “Its Always a Party at the Parkers,” has designed this adorable collection in which you can personalize with a name AND pick a cute pirate character that resembles your child! To find out more, visit Shindig’s etsy shop.

If you have a creative pirate party idea, we’d love to hear from you and we can feature it in a future blog post. Just e-mail us at If you’d like to use our free printable pirate gift tag, just download, print and cut!

We joined the following linky parties:

  1. Thank you so much for including my pirate party printables. What cute and fun pirate ideas there are out there, and what little boy doesn’t want to be a pirate? Arrggh!!!

    • Pam says:

Thanks Amanda! I love pirates too…I wonder if my 19 year old wouldn’t mind a pirate party for his birthday in May :)

  2. Thanks so much for sharing my shoppe and ideas ladies!! By the way, our invitations are custom print, but we’re working on an entire pirate printable collection to go with the invites and decor for this summer. ;)
